Well there are four days of wonderful racing taking place during this week, including the following:
Tuesday 15th March – Champion Day
The first day of The Festival features the most important hurdle race of the season, the Stan James Champion Hurdle. This was won last year by the oh so impressive Faugheen, just one of eight winners for Willie Mullins during The Festival in 2015.
Wednesday 16th March – Ladies Day
A fantastic seven race card featuring the Betway Queen Mother Champion Chase, won in 2015 by Dodging Bullets from the Paul Nicholls yard.
Thursday 17th March – St Patrick’s Day
Includes the two big races the World Hurdle and the Ryanair Chase. This was a race which provided 20 times Champion Jockey AP McCoy with an emotional final win at The Festival in 2015 before his retirement on Uxizandre.
Friday 18th March – Gold Cup Day
The Festival goes out with a bang, when one of the biggest Jump races of the season, The Timico Cheltenham Gold Cup takes place. A history of heroes will be added to as one horse powers up the hill on his way to Gold Cup glory.
We are hearing about more and more very exciting Cheltenham Festival Enhanced Odds offers coming your way from some of the biggest bookies on the planet. William Hill, Bet365 and Coral have all got very big plans for the week. They are hoping that the great British public will be betting in their millions again.
Of course they could be hit for six as they were last year when Willie Mullins’ stable amongst others saw the favourites bring home the field on pretty much every occasion. The Non Runner No Bet offer seems to be popular too for those that want to have an early gamble on certain horses. Especially as some are a little concerned about the weather over the coming days (we’re expecting a cold snap for the week so far).
Make sure then that you keep coming back for the best Cheltenham Festival Enhanced Odds and offers!
